Pottsville Man Facing DUI and Drug Possession Charges After Traffic Stop

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on August 4th, 2020, just before 8:00pm, a traffic stop was initiated on the Gordon Nagle Trail on Christopher Muench, 22,  of Pottsville while operating a Toyocar Van Container Trailer for a traffic violation.

Upon further investigation, Muench showed signs of impairment and arrested for suspicion of DUI.

On September 2nd, 2020, State Police charged Muench with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI of a Controlled Substance, and traffic violations.

Police Investigate Identity Theft

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on July 1st, 2020, troopers responded to a report of identity theft in Pine Grove Township.

A 51 year old woman reported that someone opened a Verizon account under her name.

Woman Throws Fan During Domestic in Pine Grove Township

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on September 1st, 2020, just after 7:30pm, troopers responded to a report of a domestic on Suedberg Road.

An investigation into the incident led to a 31 year old female being cited for harassment for throwing a fan at a 36 year old man.
