Patricia A. Donetti, 81, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, September 9th, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.

Born in Pottsville, on September 18, 1938, a daughter of the late Victoria (Gumicenney)and Richard Wylie.

She was the widow of GeorgeDonetti.

She was formerly employed by Argo for 35 years.

Patricia is survived by a son, Robert, husband of Virginia Donetti, of Schuylkill Haven; a grandson Jarret Donetti and his fiance Nicole Lawell, St. Clair; great grandchildren Maverick, Olivia and Carson; sisters Sandra Abbott wife of Jim, Bensalem, Ruth James wife of Ron, Frackville and Kathy Walsh wife of Ron, Las Vegas; brother Richard Wylie, Ringtown; nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sister Jean Savage and Dolores Wylie and a brother Dan Wylie.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held 10:30 on Tuesday, September 15th at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. in Schuylkill Haven, PA.

A viewing will be held prior from 9:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Saint John's New Cemetery, Auburn.

Clare A. Burke D'Alio, 78 of Pottsville died Thursday at home.

She was January 17, 1942 in Pottsville a daughter of the late William and Catherine Carlisle Burke.

She graduated from Nativity BVM High School in 1959, the first graduating class to complete four years at Nativity.

She was employed by the Van Heusen Corporation in Schuylkill Haven, for 28 years retiring in 1999.

Clare was a Catholic faith and was a member of the United Garment Workers of America.

Clare worked the voting polls during all elections as she truly enjoyed to comradery of all the workers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attended all of their special events. She had a love of reading and liked spending time at the Pottsville Library. She loved watching the New York Yankees and the Chicago Bulls.

Clare is survived by a son Chris Robison and his wife Dr. Elizabeth Welsh, Pottsville; 2 grandsons, Mitchell and Nathan Robison; a sister Kathleen Queerengasser, Schuylkill Haven; a niece and nephew.

Service of Remembrance will be held Wednesday at 11AM from James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Deacon John E. Quirk officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6-8PM Tuesday and from 10AM until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Clare be made to Pottsville Free Public Library, 215 W. Market St. Pottsville PA, 17901. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.

Charles Wiscount, infant son of Anthony and Haley Rich Wiscount, Pottsville, passed away on Wednesday at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, just 4 days after he was born in Camp Hill on September 5.

He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandfather #2, Robert “Pete” Wiscount; maternal great-grandparents #1, Charles and Anna Rhode, his paternal uncle, Joseph Wiscount.

In addition to his parents, Charlie is also survived by his older sister, Molly Jo Wiscount, at home; maternal grandmother, Christi Rhode , Pottsville; maternal grandfather, Joseph Rich, Jr. (spouse, Denise), Seltzer; paternal grandparents, Robert and Jessica Wiscount, Marlin; maternal great-grandparents #2, Joseph Rich, Sr. and Suzanne Rich, Pottsville; paternal great-grandparents #1, Richard and Jacqueline Seiger, Minersville; paternal great-grandmother #2, Brenda Wiscount, Tremont; a maternal aunt, Morgan Rich, Seltzer; a paternal aunt, Emma Wiscount, Marlin.

The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 6:00 A.M. with funeral services following at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. Visitors and attendees are expected to follow CDC guidelines. F. Brockett (Brock) Morey
, age 93, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020. Brock was born in Utica, New York. 

He was a resident of Corning New York for over 60 years before moving to Acworth GA. A WWII Navy Veteran, Brock attended Lycoming College where he met his wife, Peggy Zulick. He worked at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Rochester New York then returned to college and received his Masters Degree in Education from Cornell. He moved to Corning New York and worked for the Corning-Painted Post School District as an educator. He taught at Carter Elementary, Corning Free Academy and Painted Post Middle School. He retired in 1985. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying canoeing, hiking, fly fishing, bicycling, cross country skiing, horseback riding, birdwatching and tennis. He loved Jazz music and travel. Brock was a member of the Three Rivers Outdoor Club and the Friends of the Chemung River Watershed He led many hikes and float trips throughout the Finger Lakes area. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Zulick Morey, and siblings, Karin Hepworth and Barbara Kreuger.  Survivors include son Joel (Debbie) Morey of Kennesaw Georgia, daughter Jane (Bob) Picardi of Vienna Virginia and four grandchildren Nat (Ashley) and Reagan Morey, and Hannah and Brock Picardi.

 A Graveside Service will take place in Salem Evangelical Cemetery, Orwigsburg, on September 19th at 11:00 AM.

Kyle J. Zwiesdak, 32, of Summit Hill, passed away on September 9, 2020 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was the husband of Kristen (Gooch) Zwiesdak. Born in Lehighton, he was the son of John Zwiesdak of Summit Hill and Lynne (Thomas) Stawiarski and her husband Joseph of Summit Hill. He was a graduate of Panther Valley High School, Class of 2006. Kyle worked for Collison, Inc in Delaware where he was a Guardrail Installer. Kyle was a member of the Coaldale Fire Company, having served as a Captain and was also a member Diligence Fire Company in Summit Hill. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Modern Mopars and was an avid train collector. He was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving along with his wife and parents; is a Daughter, Morgan Zwiesdak; Step Children, Elizabeth Kinsey and John Kinsey; Brothers, Joseph Stawiarski and Joshua Stawiarski; Paternal Grandmother, Daune Zwiesdak; Maternal Grandfather, John Thomas; Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral Service is Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020 at 12 Noon from the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill with the Rev. Allen Hoffa officiating. Interment will follow at GAR Cemetery, Summit Hill. Calling Hours are Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon. at the Funeral Home.

Eugene "Gene" Stohn
, 92 of Ashland, PA passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospitial-East, Pottsville, PA.

Born in Mahanoy Plane, PA on February 17, 1928, he was the son of the late Eugene and Marguerite (Selgrade) Stohn.

He was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School, Girardville, Class of 1945 and Penn State University, Class of 1952. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a Supevisor for the Department of Public Welfare in Pottsville and Shenandoah for 56 years, retiring at the age of 80. He found his job to be rewarding and was known to for his kindness and helpful nature. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Chuch in Ashland and the Penn State Alumni Association. Throughout the years, he was also a chruch organist for St. Joseph's/St. Charles Borromeo in Ashland, St. Canicus in Mahanoy City, Holy Rosary Church in Mahanoy Plane, and Our Lady of Good Counsel in Gordon.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Catherine (Connor) Stohn in June of 2015.

He is survived by two daugthers: Karen Stohn, Ashland; and Catherine Zimmerman, Pottsville; One Grandaughter: Kate Zimmerman; Nephew, Michael Connor; Niece, Carol Harp; Newphew Dan Connor; as well as several cousins. 

Gene was recognized for his musical talents, and was the leader of the Gene Stohn Trio. He had several additional interests and hobbies. He enjoyed watching and attending sporting events and was an avid Penn State fan. He also enjoyed watching basketball, baseball, and football games, and could tell you the lineups and statistics. He had many favorite travel destinations, including the Bahamas, Cancun, New York, and Atlantic City. Daily walks were important to him for exercise and socialization.

Friends of Gene have described him as a true gentleman, genuine, kind hearted, caring, a devoted family man, and a "second Dad".

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland, PA. Rev. Brian Miller officiating. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ashland,PA. Viewing Monday 6:00-9:00 P.M. and Tuesday 9:00 AM until time of service. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Charles Heizenroth III,Supervisor.
