Deer Runs into North Schuylkill Elementary Wednesday Morning

North Schuylkill Elementary had a visitor on Wednesday morning.

According to the district, on Wednesday morning, a deer had become stuck in the fence at the North Schuylkill Baseball field.

Maintenance crews were able to free the deer but after doing so, it ran towards North Schuylkill Elementary where students were arriving.

The deer ran towards an open door and ran into the Kindergarten wing hallway of the school.

The school named the deer Danny, who they say was able to leave the school unharmed and "return to virtual learning".

No staff or students were harmed or in any danger during the incident.
