Mahanoy City Elks Donates to Local Organizations

The Elks in Mahanoy City recently donated to other local organizations.

The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge No. 695 recently donated $3,500 to the Schuylkill Community Action Food Network Program through a grant received from the Elks National Foundation (ENF). 

Community Action will distribute the funds to food pantries within the Elks district located in Mahanoy City, Shenandoah and Ringtown.

 

The Mahanoy City Elks was allocated a total of $10,500 for the 2020-2021 lodge year in ENF grants through the Community Investments Program to help build stronger communities.  Other programs receiving funds this year:  Opportunity House, Pottsville, for supportive services for veterans and families, the American Legion Post 74, Mahanoy City, for Veterans Dinners and the Schuylkill United Way for COVID-19 assistance.
