Saint Clair Man Facing Drug Charges After Being Found with Methamphetamine Early Tuesday

 A Saint Clair man is facing charges after he was found with methamphetamine early Tuesday.

According to Saint Clair Police, on Tuesday morning, around 12:50am, while on patrol on Fairlane Village Mall Road in East Norwegian Township, police spotted two males in a parked vehicle.

As police approached, a strong odor of marijuana was emanating from the vehicle.

A clear plastic bag containing a substance that was field tested positive for methamphetamine was found next to George Slackus, 49, of Saint Clair who a passenger in the vehicle.  Slackus admitted to possessing the methamphetamine and was charged with Possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
