President Judge William E. Baldwin sentenced Tabitha Murphy to serve a state prison sentence of 15 to 30 months for the delivering 2.81 grams of methamphetamine to an informant on April 4, 2019.
Murphy had been previously convicted by a jury on October 26, 2020 after a one-day trial.
Murphy appeared for sentencing via video conferencing because she is an inmate at the Schuylkill County Prison.
Judge Baldwin made the sentence effective on April 1, 2021 because Murphy is already serving a 180-day county jail sentence for three violations of driving without a license – DUI related.
The conviction was a result of a cooperative effort between the Shenandoah Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police.
