On Thanksgiving evening, Santa Claus made his annual stop in Girardville to visit with children and light the borough's Christmas tree.
The Santa Parade began around 5:00pm, with Santa and Rudolph the Reindeer being escorted by borough police and fire apparatus.
After completing the route, the parade ended at the borough hall where Santa lit the borough Christmas Tree and also met with children, social distanced of course.
