A Minersville man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after an incident in Norwegian Township on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill County, around 5:30pm, troopers were dispatched to Pinewood Drive in Norwegian Township to investigate an active domestic incident.
Upon arrival, troopers determined that Earl Davenport, 34, of Minersville threatened and caused bodily damage to a 60 year old woman, damaged the victim's vehicle, and was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
Davenport was taken into custody and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Ferrier on charges of making terroristic threats, criminal mischief, harassment, simple assault, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Davenport was then locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after being unable to post $20,000 straight cash bail.
