No injuries were reported in a crash in Lavelle on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred just before 1:30pm on Fairgrounds Road/Route 901 in Lavelle.
Troopers say the crash occurred when Parithimak Sinnathamby, 43, of Ajax, Ontario in a tractor trailer was traveling on Route 901 in Butler Township and lost control and struck another tractor trailer being driven by Thomas Noon, 57, of Gordon.
Sinnathamby's rig sustained disabling damage and required towing from the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Sinnathamby will be cited for not driving at a safe speed.
