No injuries Reported on Crash on Route 443 in Wayne Township
December 23rd, 2020 - The crash occurred around 5:20pm, on Route 443/Long Run Road when Autumn Engle, 22 of Schuylkill Haven was traveling west and struck a second vehicle driven by a 17 year old female, from behind. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage.
Both drivers and a passenger in the second vehicle were not injured.
Engle will be cited for the crash for following too close.
Assisting at the scene was the Schuylkill EMS, Friedensburg Fire Department, and Moyer's Towing.

Philadelphia Man Facing DUI Charges After Foster Township Crash
State Police have filed DUI charges against Christopher Colon, 19, of Philadelphia after a crash on Sunbury Road/Valley Road in Foster Township on December 11th, 2020.
Troopers say Colon was under the influence of a controlled substance. Colon admitted to smoking marijuana prior to driving and was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Speed and Slush Roads Blamed for Washington Township Crash
The crash occurred on December 21st, 2020 around 12:35pm on Saw Mill Road in Washington Township. Troopers say John Mease, 19, of Pine Grove was negotiating a left curve while roads were slushy and was traveling too fast for conditions.
Mease struck a plowed snowbank and continued off the roadway and struck a tree head-on. Mease was not injured but his Volkswagen Jetta suffered disabling damage. Gary's Towing assisted with removal of the vehicle from the scene.

One Injured in Porter Township Crash
The crash occurred on December 21st, 2020 around 7:25am on Route 209 in Porter Township. Troopers say for unknown reasons Daniel Fisher, 66, of Lebanon traveled off the right side of the roadway going down a ditch and striking a tree. Fisher was assisted in getting out of the vehicle by a passerby.
Fisher was transported to an area hospital by Tower/Porter Community Ambulance for unknown injuries.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
