Firefighters responded to a house fire in Shenandoah on Monday morning.
Around 10:45am, emergency personnel were dispatched to 311 West Lloyd Street for a possible house fire.
The first fire chief on scene reported a kitchen fire in the area of the refrigerator.
Within minutes of arrival, a fire was reported knocked with crews looking for extensions.
Units from Shenandoah and Mahanoy City responded.
