Albert O. Bittle, age 71, of Pottsville, passed away Sunday, January 31st at Lehigh Valley Hospital, East Norwegian St., Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville on July 14, 1949, he was a son of the late Albert O. Bittle, Sr. & Violet (Dallago) Bittle.

He was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School and Moravian College.

Al was of the Protestant faith; and had served in the U. S. Army.

He was employed as an intake clerk for the Pennsylvania state Medical Assistance Office.

In addition to his parents, Al is preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Bittle on November 4, 2000.

He is survived by his son, Albert Bittle, Reading, PA, daughter, Kathleen Smith & her husband, Franklin, Ashley, PA, granddaughter, Kiera Smith, sister, Janet Jones & her husband, William, Wayne Township, brother, Robert Myers, Florida, and former wife, JoAnne Bittle, Allentown, PA.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, February 4th at Cressona Cemetery at 11 a.m.

Maryanne B. Warczyglowa
, 74, Dillsburg, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born in Frackville, she was the daughter of the late Stanley J. and Stella R. Slovick Pascavage. She had been employed as a patient transporter at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Walter W. Kowker, and her 2nd husband, Kelly Warczyglowa whom she equally loved, as well as her brother, Joseph Pascavage.

Maryanne is survived by her seven children: John Kowker and wife Tabatha, Camp Hill; Angela Abel and her husband Robert, Arkansas; Kimberly Walker, Harrisburg; Theresa deBerk and her husband Henry, Camp Hill; Beth Kowker and her fiancee Jake Ulrich, Enola; Stanley Kowker, Mechanicsburg; Natalie Kowker, Dillsburg; her 12 loving grandchildren whom she adored and also by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Maryanne had requested donations be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania (hospiceofcentralpa.org).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6th at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 49 N. Line Street, Frackville with Rev. Brian Miller, pastor as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Frackville.

Arthur J. "Art" Martin, Jr.
, 60 years of age of South Lehigh Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died suddenly on Saturday, January 30, 2021, while at work in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Born Friday, December 16, 1960 in Camden, New Jersey, the son of the late Arthur James Martin Sr., and Norma Lillian (Gallen) Martin. Art was also predeceased by his son, John D. Wentz.

Surviving are; wife, Bonnie (Leibenguth) Tolentino - Martin; sons, David Martin, George Thomas Wentz, Jr. and his wife Lori of Tamaqua; daughter, Tammy Sacco wife of Bill of Tamaqua; sisters, Debbie Kozierachi of Pennsauken, NJ, Cindy Martin of Glouster, NJ, Linda Waldman of Deptford, NJ; 17 grand children; 25 great grandchildren.

Art worked for Transwestern Polymers of Tamaqua. He liked to watch wrestling, and spend time with his grandchildren. Art loved the companionship of his dogs Stormy, and Penelope. He deeply missed his chihuahua Meshea. Art rescued all three of his dogs.

Georgia C. Rieker
, 77 years of age, of East Ridge Street Coaldale, Pennsylvania passed away late Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Pottsville Campus.

Born Sunday, December 5, 1943 in Freemansburg, PA, the daughter of the late George W. Bonser Jr. , and Elizabeth (Gostonyi) Bonser.

Surviving are; daughters, Karen Cressman - Werres of Pearland, TX and Carol Cressman of Coaldale, with whom she resided; sister, Stephanie Ungerer of Amesbury, MA; brother, George Bonser of Easton, PA., granddaughter, Lauren Werres.

Georgia was retired from Kraft Foods, enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, Elvis shows and dinner with family and friends.
