Anita T. Vinskie
, 97 of Frackville passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Medical Center-East, Pottsville

Born July 14, 1923, she was a daughter of the late John, Sr. and Stasia Laurenavage Navitsky.

Anita graduated from the former Frackville High School, class of 1941; she then proceeded to Philadelphia for a career as a secretary. She later moved back home to take over the family business, Big John’s CafĂ©, Frackville. She also worked in local factories until her retirement.

Anita loved to travel; she also enjoyed sewing, puzzles, bingo and games shows.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville and was a past member of the church choir. She was also a member of the Shenandoah and Frackville Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alex Vinskie, in 1999; a daughter, Janet Covelusky, in 2019; step-son, Leonard Vinskie, in 1994; brother John Navitsky, in 2014; sister, Florence Selconis and infant sister Ruth

She is survived by two daughters; Joanne Selconis, Jonestown and Linda Tomtishen, Cressona; step-son Alex Vinskie, Allentown; four grandchildren; Noelle Zucas; San Francisco; Kim Lucas, Laguna Beach, CA; April Kissinger, Flower Mound, TX; Todd Trynosky, Phoenix, AZ; thirteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, in St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Frackville, with Rev. Brian Miller, pastor, as celebrant. Following CDC and PA DOH guidelines with masks and social distancing. Interment will be Annunciation Cemetery, Englewood/Frackville.

Rose M. Barletta
, 95 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Tamaqua.

Born Tuesday, April 21, 1925 in Lansford, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Joseph, and Mary (Kamenicky) Jakubco. Rose was also predeceased by; her husband Vincent J. Barletta on October 29, 1984; sisters, Sister Rosella Jakubco, Sister Francis Jakubco; Francis Cebulak; brother Joseph Jakubco.

A graduate of the former St. Ann's High School of Lansford, Rose was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua. Rose, worked thirty years for Dr. Harry Billger in his optometry office in Tamaqua. In retirement Rose volunteered for the Tamaqua School District. Rose enjoyed playing cards, weekends out with her girl friends, bowling and time spent with her grandchildren.

Surviving are daughter, Grace Ann Getz and her husband Walter of Coaldale; brothers, Father Bernie Jakubco, Edward Jakubco and his wife Elaine; grandchildren, Scott and his wife Colleen, Chad; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Carson, Daylon.

Allen H. Neidlinger
, 92, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away Thursday, January 28th, at Heatherwood Retirement Community, Honey Brook.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, PA on December 31, 1928, he was a son of the late Harry C. & Sarah A. (Zimmerman) Neidlinger.

He was the widower of Irene (Reed) Neidlinger.

In addition to his parents and wife, Al is also preceded in death by his children: Robert Reed, & Barbara Ann Neidlinger, and sisters: Martha Rodnick, Alberta Parkhurst, & Jean Yeager.

Al attended Schuylkill Haven High School, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was last employed by Elite Service, Inc. as a truck driver.

Al was an avid dirt track racing driver and owner.He drove at various tracks including Big Diamond, Grandview, and Evergreen Speedways.

Al is survived by his longtime companion, Viva Gerhart, Honey Brook, PA, one sister, Shirley Foose, of Schuylkill Haven; three brothers, Charles Neidlinger, of Minersville; John Neidlinger, of Schuylkill Haven; and James Neidlinger, of Schuylkill Haven; as well as his friend and caretaker, Lynne Cover, Mohton, PA, and nieces & nephews.

A private memorial service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
