Ann M. Unger, 82, formerly of Tamaqua, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Seton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Orwigsburg, PA. 

Born in York, PA on August 11, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Isobel (nee Kershner) Unger. Ann attended Elwyn Training School in Media, PA until moving home with her mother in Tamaqua in 1960. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Tamaqua. 

The last member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her brother, Donald Unger and her sister, Patricia Hafer as well as by her parents. 

A private graveside funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be made at www.zgfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are being handled by the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Tamaqua.

Bernard C. Schuck Sr., 77, Schuylkill Haven, passed away December 31st at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.

Born in Seltzer City, he was a son of the late Jerome and Katherine Schuck. He was also preceded in death by his wife Cheryl Schuck, a daughter Judy Schuck and a son Jeffrey Schuck.

He is survived by his son, Bernard Schuck Jr. and his fiance Melissa Kellett, his daughter Sherri Schaeffer and her husband Rick; also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces/nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Andrew (Andy) J. Prock
, 74, Mechanicsville, Pottsville passed away on Friday, January 1st at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest with family at his side.

Born in Frackville, he was a son of the late Andrew and Anna Aponick Prock. He was an active member of St. Clare of Assisi Church in St. Clair.

Andy was a car enthusiast who enjoyed car shows. He loved his corvette and was a member of the Schuylkill County Corvette Club.

Andy served in the United States Air Force prior to graduating from the Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing. He worked at Pottsville Hospital, now LVHN Schuylkill as a Registered Nurse until his retirement. He was a member of the LVHN alumni and Auxiliary of retired nurses.

Andy is survived by his wife Barbara with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage with this past September; his son Andrew, husband of Krista Prock of Mt. Penn and his two grandchildren Maggie and Emily; his sister Marianne Yanchulis, Frackville; sister-in-law Elaine Faust, Gordon and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Andy’s family was the most important to him. He loved spending time with his grandchildren any chance he could get. He and his wife loved to travel especially with their grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, dad, grandfather and friend to all. He will be deeply missed. He lived his life to the fullest. He fought hard the past few months with COPD and Parkinson’s disease and never once complained.

Due to Covid precautions, funeral services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial mass donations, in Andy’s name, be made to St. Clare of Assisi Church at 250 E. Hancock Street St. Clair, PA 17970

Robert John DeLellis, age 71, of Cumbola, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 at his home.

Born in Pottsville, PA on November 1, 1949, he was the son of the late Joseph and Florence M. (Yeneshosky) DeLellis.

Bob was a graduate of Saint Clair High School. He worked at Quaker Maid Kitchens. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved going to the beach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother David DeLellis

Bob is survived by his daughter Tanya Velazquez and her husband Robert, Enola; a brother Joseph DeLellis and his wife Lisa, Fountain Springs.

Funeral Services will be held private.

Dolores D. Bowers, age 82, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown.

Born in Port Carbon, PA on December 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Dorothy (Culbert) Zucofski.

Dolores was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, Class of 1956 and of the Pottsville School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 1959. Dolores worked first at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Pottsville and last for the Pottsville Hospital until retiring.

Dolores was a member of the St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in St. Clair, was an avid reader, and loved to garden. Spending time with her family was very important to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Edwin L. Bowers on July 07, 2014.

Dolores is survived by son Anthony J. Bowers and his wife Kay, Pine Grove; daughter Debra L. Bowers and her husband Joseph DePalma, Garnet Valley; daughter Laurel M. Koberg, Lake Wynonah; son Edwin T. Bowers and his wife Kimberly, Bel Air, MD; son-in-law Heino Koberg, Allentown; nine grandchildren: Keagan, Nathan, Gavin, Aric, Andrew, Katrina, Jessica, Benjamin, and Chloe; three great-grandchildren: Hakeem, Preston, and Natalia; sister-in-law Faith Cook, Pottsville; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be announced at a later date due to the pandemic.

Jesse G. Keim
, 54, of Tower City, passed away very unexpectedly, Friday, January 1, 2021 at his home.

Born in Pottsville, August 20, 1966, a son of Gene Keim, Tower City and the late Judy Bettinger Keim.

Jesse was employed by the Porter-Tower Joint Municipal Authority. He also had been a truck driver for many years with his family business the former Stoney Mountain Trucking.

Jesse could always be found in the outdoors doing all kinds of hunting, training his dogs, or just taking in the nature. His love for hunting was passed onto his youngest daughter, Jenny, who was his hunting buddy. He loved his dogs, including his three labs who were always by his side. Jesse enjoyed spending time with his family and friends always looking forward to the picnics around his pool.

Surviving in addition to his father, are his high school sweetheart, his wife of 35 years, Lisa Minnich Keim; his three daughters he was extremely proud of, Celia Keim Patel and her husband Kavil, New Jersey; Chloe Keim and Jenny Keim, both of Tower City; two sisters, Penni Cinqmars, Florida and Meri Keim, Tower City; two sister-in-laws, Dawn Brewster, MA and Ann Minnich, Williamstown; several aunts and uncles including Paul and Dolly Mae Rebuck, whom Jesse was very close to and many cousins including Paulie Rebuck, whom Jesse considered a younger brother. Nieces and nephews.

Funeral services following all CDC guidelines will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 11:00 am from the Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin. Viewing will be held from 10-11 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jesse's memory should be made to the Christ United Methodist Church, 400 E. Grand Avenue, PO Box F, Tower City, PA 17980. Anna May Kealy, 73, of Oneida, passed away Thursday, December 31st, 2020, after a brief illness.

Anna May was born in Mt. Carmel, on January 19, 1947, a daughter of the late Mary (Stelma) and Joseph Yadinskie.

After graduating high school and cosmetology school, she was a self employed as a beautician in Sheppton.

She was a fatihful of the Sheppton parish of St. Joseph's Church.

Anna May is survived by a sister Marie Bott, of Hammonton, NJ; and by her longtime significant other, Roy Laubach, of Zion Grove.

Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Anna May will be laid to rest at St. Joseph's cemetery in Mt. Carmel at a later date which will be announced.
