Jessica Lynn Andruchek, 35, of Minersville, PA passed away on March 10, 2021. She was the daughter of Joanne and Michael Andruchek, Minersville.

Jessie was a 2003 graduate of Minersville Area Junior Senior High School and a 2007 graduate of Cedar Crest College, Allentown earning a BA in Theater.

She was a case worker for Schuylkill County Children and Youth for the past 12 years. She was an active member of New Minersville Hose Company.

Her favorite job was being a big sister to Rebecca with whom she shared a love of Disney, Broadway and Netflix binging.

To know Jessie was to know her bright smile, easy laugh, and sharp wit. She enjoyed running, having completed numerous half marathons across the east coast. One of her favorite pastimes was attending Boston Red Sox games with her father.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister and best friend, Becky; her companion of 8 years Bobby Workman, Minersville; and her cats Izobel and Ruppert. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles John and Carol Andruchek, Minersville; Maria and Ron Nersesian, California; Margaret and John Suender, New Jersey; John and Wendy Catchmark, Mohnton; Jim and Katie Catchmark, Wyomissing; and second cousin Patricia Schuester, Wyomissing. She is also survived by many cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11AM from the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral home on Wednesday from 8AM until the time of the service. Visitors are asked to follow CDC COVID guidance. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus #2 Cemetery, Minersville.

Thelma M. Crepack, 87, formerly of Pottsville, entered into eternal rest surrounded by family Friday morning at Serenity Gardens, Kulpmont.

Born September 7, 1933 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Anna M. (Lyston) Xedeas.

Thelma was a 1951 graduate of Pottsville High School and she was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. She retired in 1998 as a manager, after 45 years of employment at Wire Tele-View Corporation, Pottsville.

She was a member of the local SPCA and an avid supporter of the National SPCA. She was also a member of the Miraculous Medal Society.

Thelma was proud of her green thumb and loved her roses. She also loved music, football, and dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Crepack who died March 15, 2006; brother Thomas Xedeas; sister Elaine Xedeas; niece Deborah Bohr; son Sgt. David Crepack; and brother-in-law Francis Crepack.

She is survived by a daughter Janice George wife of Tommy, Collegeville; granddaughters Nicole Lepisto wife of Joseph, Lititz and Rebecca Gonzales wife of Jared, Collegeville; niece Angelique Schultz wife of Robert and their daughter, Thelma’s beloved Olivia and their son Graham, whom Thelma adored; and niece Alexis Cataldi wife of Philip, Hummelstown.

In addition, Thelma is also survived by her great grandchildren Kaileb and Alina Gonzales and Jayden, Myla, and Coby Lepisto.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Thursday March 18 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Family and friends may call from 9AM until time of Mass. Private interment will be held on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. It was Thelma’s request that donations be made to the local SPCA or the local chapter of HDSA (Huntington’s Disease Society of America) 500 West Germantown Pike 1900 Suite1020 Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 in her memory. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville PA 17901 has been entrusted with arrangements.

Dorothy I. "Toots" Herring, 91, of Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

Born on August 30, 1929 in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Alvena Gehres Schnoke.

She was a member of various social clubs in the area.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Calvin G. "Pee Wee" Herring; three brothers, Norman Schnoke, Alvin Schnoke, and Arthur Schnoke; two sisters, Ethel McMillin and Clara Cooper.

Surviving are two brothers, Ernest Schnoke and Ralph Schnoke, both of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services and interment will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. at Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. A procession to the cemetery will leave the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Pine Grove at 1:00 P.M. for those wishing to follow to the cemetery.

Patrick E. McGinley, 56, of Minersville died peacefully at home, Thursday March 11th.

He was born May 3, 1964 in Pottsville a son of the late James L. and Mary Lou Gorman McGinley

He was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

Pat was employed by the Pottsville Area School District for many years and most recently employed by Tension Envelopes, St. Clair.

Pat was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

Pat will be remembered for his kindness, his quick wit, his infectious smile and laugh and his sense of humor. He loved talking about sports especially, Norte Dame Football. He was a avid fan of the "Fightin' Irish" and was excited to have taken a trip to Norte Dame which was special to him. He also was a very proud grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by a brother James D. McGinley, 2005

Surviving are his daughter Carissa Kramer and her husband Jeff, Port Carbon; his 3 grandchildren Connor, Adelynn and Hannah who were the greatest joy in his life. 3 sisters, Barbara McGinley, Pottsville; Cheryl Burrell and her husband Greg, Colorado Springs, CO; Denise McGinley-Gerchak and her husband Joe, Pottsville; his loving nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM Tuesday March 23rd at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to viewing from 9-10:30AM at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Interment will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
