John J. Miller, Sr.
, 70, of Birds Hill Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at home.

Born on March 2, 1951 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Norman R. Sr. and Olga V. Roth Miller.

He was baptized and confirmed by former Pastor John E. Youse at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.

He was honorably discharged as a Specialist Four in the US Army in 1972.

John was a mechanic and owned and ran Miller's Auto Repair for many years and made many friends while proudly serving his community.

He was a lifetime member of the Pine Grove VFW Post 3432, the Pine Grove American Legion Post 374, Pine Grove Fish and Game and Rock Fish and Game. He was also a member of the Roedersville Game and Fish and the H. H. & L. Fire Co. #1 in Pine Grove. He was a founding member of the local pool league where he served as captain for numerous teams.

John was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool and working on vehicles.

Surviving are his long time companion and buddy, Susan Zimmerman of Pine Grove; a daughter, Kelly and husband Jeffrey Palerino of Schuylkill Haven; a son, John Jr."Butch" and wife Paige Miller of Pine Grove; five grandchildren, Jackie Sep, Amber Miller, Zachary Palerino, Sarah Palerino and Shelby Miller; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Norman and wife Brenda Miller and Gary and wife Michelle Miller; nine sisters, Marion and husband Tom Fenner, Dixie and husband John Peiffer, Susan Miller, Darlene and husband Ralph Haldeman, Donna Reichert, JoAnn Kocher, Mary Shive, Bonnie and husband Larry Bender, and Diane Miller; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, Volunteer Services, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, Pa. 17042 in his memory.

H. Cassandra "Sandy" Eisenhauer
, 79, of E. Railroad St., Donaldson, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

Born on February 8, 1942 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Helen Williams Klinger.

She was a graduate of Tremont High School and Penn State University.

Sandy delivered the Merchandiser for over 40 years.

She was a member of St. Peter's UCC in Tremont.

Sandy loved to play bingo, going to the casino and doing crafts.

Preceding her in death was a granddaughter, Amanda Parker.

Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Donald Eisenhauer; two daughters, Christine and husband Dean Nicholas of Tremont, Danielle and husband Chris Natale of Pine Grove; a son David Eisenhauer of Tremont; four grandchildren, Nicholas Morgan, Jordan Nicholas, Dustin Eisenhauer, and Brayden Natale; two great grandchildren, Madison Betz and Dylan Parker; a brother, Edwin Klinger of Tremont; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Forgie of Carlisle.

Graveside Services and interment will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in St. John's Reformed Cemetery, Tremont with Rev. Krista Roehrig officiating.

Judith Levin Woodburn, 74 of Sun Lakes, Arizona formerly of Shenandoah passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at home surrounded by her family after courageous battle with cancer.

She was a daughter of the late Leo and Florence (Valentine) Levin.

Judy was a 1964 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.

Before moving to Arizona, she was employed as a lab technician and registered hypnotist for hospitals and physicians in the Philadelphia area.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her sister, Anne Cohen.

Judith is survived by her husband, John Woodburn; her daughter, Debra Bell and her husband Mark; a son, John Woodburn and his wife Carolyn; five grandchildren; her sister, Susan Guers of Shenandoah Heights; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be privately held in Arizona.
