George S. Wonchalk
, age 92, of Saint Clair, PA passed away on Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at Schuylkill Center in Pottsville. 

Born in Greenberry, PA on February 20, 1929, he was the son of the late Stephen Wonchalk and Anna (Gallo) Brozana. George worked as a steam shovel operator at Swatara Coal Company in Newtown and then for Quirin's Foundry in Saint Clair until retiring. George was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Saint Clair and he was a great handyman who could fix anything.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter Chanel Bender, a sister Mary Saurazar, a brother Steve Wonchalk, and a step-brother Vincent Brozana. 

George is survived by his wife of 71 years, Madeline M. (Klemer) Wonchalk; three daughters: Barbara Docherty and her husband Francis, Saint Clair, Carol Sabados and her husband Russell, Cleona, and Diane Bender and her husband Gerardo Talamantes, Saint Clair; eight grandchildren: Bryan Docherty and his wife Michele, Nicole Docherty and her fiance' Michael Reidler, Christopher Docherty, Justin Sabados and his wife Maria, Ryan Sabados and his wife Alison, Eric Bender and his wife Heather, Stepanie Gross and her husband Jereme, and Gerardo Talamantes Jr and his wife Megan Talamantes Jr; nine great-grandchildren; two step-sisters: Veronica Hopstetter and Elizabeth Greenberg; a step-brother Joseph Brozana; and nieces and nephews. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 11AM on Friday, June 4th, with Msgn William Glosser officiating. Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Friday morning from 9-10:30AM at the Funeral Home. 

Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Saint Clair.

Glenn Theodore Sattizahn Jr.
70 of Schuylkill Haven passed away Saturday at his home.

Born in Pottsville, January 10, 1951, he was the son of the late Glenn Sr. and Margaret Reed Sattizahn.

Glenn was a 1968 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. He worked at Alpha Mills for 50 years where he last worked as the operations manager. He served on the borough council and was a devoted member to Schuylkill Hose Company No. 2. Glenn served as the treasurer of the fire company and served as the Schuylkill Borough Fire Chief for four years. He was also a member of Rajah Shrine for 35 years where he had also been a past Potentate of the Rajah

Glenn is survived by his wife of 43 years the former Janet Moyer. He is also survived by his children; Rachel Crisante of Lancaster, Glenn Sattizahn husband to Sarah of Harrisburg and Erica Mease wife to Heber of Cressona. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Courtney, Tyler, Olivia, and Lucy along with a sister Jane Nason and a brother Chester Sattizahn.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. Pastor David Rowe will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Glenn’s memory to either the Schuylkill Hose Company No.2, P.O.
