Schuylkill County Residents Named to The University of Scranton Spring 2021 Dean's List

Schuylkill County residents were among more than 1,875 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2021 spring semester. 

The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List. 

The list includes students from the Jesuit university's College of Arts and Sciences, Kania School of Management and Panuska College of Professional Studies.

The students are:
  • Fanny Rodriguez of Sheppton, a sophomore biology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Emily M. Amershek of New Ringgold, a junior philosophy major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Taylor R. Loughlin of Shenandoah, a junior psychology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Katie B. Zehner of Orwigsburg, a junior history major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Frank J. Blozusky of Frackville, a senior biology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences
  • Kathleen Blozusky of Frackville, a senior biology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Alexa D. Romberger of Valley View, a senior biochemistry major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Alexis A. Wislotsky of Ashland, a senior neuroscience major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Makayla C. Wislotsky of Ashland, a senior biology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Sierra R. Giranda of McAdoo, a freshman nursing major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies.
  • Zachary J. Turnitza of Cumbola, a junior nursing major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies.
The University of Scranton is a Jesuit university located in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
