Jean Laverne (Schneck) Turner, 84, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Stoneridge in Myerstown.

Born on February 3, 1937 in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late Calvin I. and Irene E. Zimmerman Schneck.

She was a longtime resident of both Pine Grove and Fredericksburg.

Jean loved and found great satisfaction in being a homemaker, wife and mother. She loved to cook and bake, having won the Betty Crocker cook award in school.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 55 years, Robert Lee Turner; two sons, her oldest, Michael Lee Turner and Robert Jeffrey Turner.

Surviving are a daughter, Jill S. (Turner) and husband Bryan T. Maidenford of Pine Grove; a son, Matthew Duane Turner of Maryland; four grandchildren, Danielle K. (Turner) Chrisman of Minnesota, Susan J. (Turner) Busta of Minnesota, Robert Jeffrey Turner Jr. of Lebanon, Bryan T. Turner of Maryland; four great grandchildren, and cousins.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Daniel R. Lubinsky
, 42, of Cass Township, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville.

Born Jan. 18, 1979, in Pottsville, he was a son of Edmund F. and the late Brenda (Bennett) Lubinsky.

He was a 1997 graduate of Pottsville Area High School. Dan attended Vo-tech and learned the trade of masonry, starting his career with Ron Schneck Masonry, Pine Grove. He then worked for Thompson Masonry, Pottstown, prior to enjoying time as a stay-at-home dad. Recently, Dan achieved his dream of starting his own business, DRL Masonry and Excavation.

Dan served his community as the former chairman of the Schuylkill Valley Sewer Authority for over 12 years and was also an avid supporter of Goodwill Hose Company, Cumbola. He was a member of Schuylkill Trout Unlimited. He had a passion for hunting, Phillies baseball, and coaching his son’s youth sports teams, including soccer, basketball and baseball in Minersville. He enjoyed traveling with his family on cruise vacations and seeing different parts of the world.

Everyone who met Dan said he was kind and generous and he would help anyone in need. He volunteered in many aspects of the community, including building a veteran’s memorial in Brockton and recently installing new softball batting cages at Minersville Area High School.

He was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, New Philadelphia.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife of 18 years, Dr. Cynthia (Hosler) Lubinsky; son, Hunter Lubinsky; daughter, Evelyn Lubinsky; brother, Edmund P. Lubinsky and his wife, Staci, of Florida; nieces and nephews; cousins; aunts and uncles

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 99 Valley St., New Philadelphia, PA 17959. The Rev. Ronald Minner and Monsignor William Glosser will officiate. Friends may call from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children-Philadelphia, Attn: Development Office, 3551 N. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19140.

Joseph Bulino
, 88, of Saint Clair, died Friday, June 18, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Saint Clair, Sept. 22, 1932, he was a son of the late Andrew and Mary (Logoida) Bulino.

He was a 1950 graduate from Saint Clair High School.

Joseph Bulino served in the Army during the Korean War.

He retired as a welder from United Metal, Pottsville.

He was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Saint Clair, American Legion Post 319 and St. Clair Honor Guard.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, George Andrew, John, Michael and Charles Bulino; a sister, Anne Grande.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Anita (Busosky) Bulino; two daughters, Cynthia Moser and her husband, Thomas, of Leesport, Marcia Delaney and her companion, Barry Hamme, of Mechanicsburg; son, Joseph Bulino and his wife, Robyn, of Auburn; brother, Frank Bulino, of Florida; sister, Margaret Wilson, of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Caitlyn, Tommy, Michelle, Meghan and Mark; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, including Susanne Bulino.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., Saint Clair, PA 17970. The Very Rev. Gregory J. Noga will be officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ALS Foundation 1300 Wilson Blvd. Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209. Burial with military honors will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. The Bulino family would also like to say thank-you to the Compassus Hospice for their wonderful service. LaVerne M. Yackel
, 73, of Pottsville, passed away on Saturday, June 19th at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Shenandoah on March 18th, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Lawson.

She leaves behind her husband of 21 years, Walter Paul Yackel, 1 son, Paul Kanigoski with his wife Denise – Lake Wynonah, 1 daughter, Leah Donovan with her husband Jim – Pottsville, 1 step son, Sean Yackel with his wife Patrice – Maple Shade, NJ, 2 step daughters, Jennifer Boody with her husband Dan – Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Heather Davis with her husband Tim – Mt. Laurel, NJ. 1 sister, Bernadette Kalinkowski – Pottsville, 1 granddaughter, Elizabeth Donovan, and 8 step grandchildren, Corey, Jordann, Ciera, Addison, Kayson, Mackenzie, Griffin, and Tyler. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 25th at 10am in St. John the Baptist Church, 913 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, Pa, and will be celebrated by Fr. Kevin Bobbin. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9am until time of services at the church. Interment will be held at a later date.

Diane Lenosky, 60, of Pottsville, passed away surrounded by her family on June 17th, at the home of her son, Kyle. 

Diane was born in Pottsville, on December 17, 1960, a daughter of Erna (Winters) and the late Francis Lenosky. She was a graduate of Pottsville Area high School Class of 1978. She was retired from Honeywell in MarLin and was currently working at Reynolds in Tamaqua. Diane loved her dogs and was very active with the local SPCA’s and Rescue shelters. She took great pride in her Lucy collection and loved going to concerts. Specifically Def Leppard concerts for she was a devoted fan. She will be remembered for her famous "Apple cake" which was enjoyed my many. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis & her grandparents. 

Diane is survived by her mother, Erna, of Germany. Two sons Wayne Lenosky of Seltzer and Kyle Lenosky & his companion, Corrine, of Palo Alto. Diane is also survived by two sisters, Susan Bowman & Janet Rasmussen. Two brothers, Robert Lenosky & James Lenosky. An aunt Betty Ann Lenosky. She is also survived by her granddaughters Acacia & Reina Lenosky , who were the loves of her life. Also, Lynn Fekette who was like a daughter to her. Nieces & nephews.

A Visitation will be held 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 23rd at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. in Minersville, PA. A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donation's made in Diane's name to the Ruth Steinert Memorial S.P.C.A. 18 Wertz Dr, Pine Grove, PA 17963.
