Schuylkill County Brew Fest Draws Hundreds to Pottsville


On Saturday, the Schuylkill County Brew Fest drew hundreds to downtown Pottsville.

The event, now in it's 7th year, and held on Centre Street, allows craft beer fans to try an array of different flavors and styles of brews.

Event organizers Dave Cantwell (Cousin Dave Entertainment) and Tyler Budwash (Pilger Ruh Brewing) have been worked hard to bring together local breweries to the vent which included:

The breweries served up their own unique beers which came with names like Notorious P.I.E., New Beer What Dis?, and Petty Panda.  One also created their own Boilo Beer.

Each attendee was provided a beer glass to use throughout the event to try each beer and then vote for their favorite and the winner of the coveted Skook Series Championship Belt.

The event, which originally began in Frackville, has grown since it's first year with nearly 1,000 people attending Saturday.
