Schuylkill Response, Recovery, & Renewal (RRR) Task Force Launches Operation Vaccination

As part of the collective efforts of the Schuylkill Response, Recovery, & Renewal (RRR) Task Force, a vaccination project, “Operation Vaccination”, was launched by the task force to encourage Schuylkill County students and community members to get vaccinated. 

The idea was presented in response to a discussion regarding the available vaccinations and need to prevent further transmission and contracting of COVID-19. 

The task force is hopeful that this proactive effort will decrease potential positive cases of our students and community residents. 

As part of Operation Vaccination, the following vaccination clinics have been scheduled: 

July 30, 2021

• Schuylkill Haven High School Gymnasium, 4-6PM (Pfizer Vaccination)
• Clinic for Schuylkill Haven & Blue Mountain
• August 20, 4-6PM, Second Dose

August 2, 2021

• Saint Clair School District, 4-6PM (Pfizer Vaccination)
• Clinic for Saint Clair
• Second dose August 23 4-6PM

August 3, 2021

• Minersville Area School District (10-11am)(Pfizer Vaccination)
• Clinic for Minersville
• Provided by Rite Aid

August 10, 2021

• Shenandoah Area School District Gymnasium, 4-6PM (Pfizer Vaccination)
• Clinic for Mahanoy Area, North Schuylkill, & Shenandoah 
• August 31, 4-6PM, Second Dose
• Provided by St. Luke’s

August 4, 2021

• Schuylkill County Fair, 2270 Fair Road, Schuylkill Haven
• 4-7PM (Pfizer Vaccination)
• Second Dose at Schuylkill LVHN Hospital (scheduled at your convenience)

• Pottsville Area School District, 10AM-12PM (Pfizer Vaccination)
• Clinic for Pottsville Area (Second Dose)
• Provided by Rite Aid

The RRR Task Force was established by the Schuylkill County Commissioners to engage local emergency management, healthcare, education, legislative and business leaders with the collective vision of providing “response, recovery, and renewal” to a community in need.
