As storms pushed through Schuylkill County Wednesday afternoon and evening, that led to downed trees and power lines knocking out power to some homes.
As of 11:00pm, Wednesday, PPL is reporting a total of 613 homes without power.
The majority of that group is in the Porter Township/Tower City area with 445 homes being left in the dark.
Next is West Brunswick Township (52 Homes), Wayne Township (51 Homes), and Union Township(33 Homes).
Other smaller outages were also reported in Butler Township, East Brunswick Township, East Union Township, Hubley Township, North Manheim Township, Pine Grove Township, and West Penn Township.
Power is expected to be restored to a majority of the communities by 6:00am, Thursday.
