Nancy L. Zimmerman
, 94, of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Seton Manor in Orwigsburg.

Born on May 16, 1927 in Ravine, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Bonawitz Zimmerman.

She was a 1945 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a member of the Pine Grove Wesleyan Church.

Nancy enjoyed all kinds of crafting and fishing trips with her husband.

Preceding her in death were her husband Marlin "Pete" Zimmerman and a sister Grace Zimmerman.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara and husband David Hikes and Susan Zimmerman, both of Pine Grove; three grandchildren, Randy Hikes, Kelly Palerino, and John "Butch" Miller, Jr.; four great grandchildren, Amber Miller, Zachary Palerino, Sarah Palerino, and Shelby Miller; five great great grandchildren; and a sister Mary Olt of Pine Grove.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastors Earl and Kitty Hertzog officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Reformed Cemetery, Ravine.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to either the Wesleyan Church, 74 Bethel Rd., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 or the Hillside SPCA, P. O. Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901 in her memory.

Scott McCoy
, 58, of Fountain Springs passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, as he entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 8, 2021, at the GMC, Danville. He was born on August 12, 1962, in Ashland. He was a 1980 graduate of NSHS. Scott worked at SCI State Corrections of Frackville as a food supervisor for 28 years before retirement in April 2014.

Scott was an avid sports fan, playing in baseball as a little league pitcher for Ashland Little League and football in his early days of high school, which led him into becoming a huge Phillies and Penn State fan. Also, Scott was a lifelong member of the Boy Scouts with continuing to grow as a Scoutmaster for Troop 780, Gordon, and watching his son become an Eagle Scout.

Scott always thought of others more than himself and he was a very loving and kind husband, father, brother, son, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marcella (Dillman) McCoy, Ashland, a brother Joseph and wife, Mary Ann McCoy, Mount Carmel, and a brother, Kenneth McCoy, Ashland.

Scott is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 36 years, Lisa Seitzinger McCoy, Fountain Springs, a son, Scotty McCoy, Maryland, a sister, Marci Eye, and husband, David Eye, Aristes, nephew David Eye, and wife Amanda Eye, Mount Carmel, niece Jennifer Eye, New Jersey, and nephew Jeremy Eye, Harrisburg. Sister Candace McCoy, and companion, Davey Hower, Ashland, and niece Destinee Bebout, West Chester. And a nephew Matthew McCoy, Mount Carmel.

Scott is also survived by mother-in-law, Veronica Seitzinger, Bloomsburg, sister-in-law Lou Ann Fickinger, and companion, Terry Smith, Gordon, nephew, Derek Fickinger, Ashland, brother-in-law, Stephen Seitzinger, and wife, Jeanette, Pine Grove, a niece Selah and nephew Jathan, and sister-in-law, Lesley Romig, and husband Ron, Bloomsburg, and a niece Samantha Colegrove, Wyalusing. He’s also survived by good family friend, Laura Pavlick, who helped him the past five years immensely. Also, aunts and cousins. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
