Donna Lee Lukens
, 73, of East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Shenandoah as a guest of Ridgeview Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr.

Born Saturday, January 3, 1948 in Lavelle, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Henry Hobart, and Marion (Hoover) Fleetman. Donna was also predeceased by; her sister, Marjorie Godshall.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, John Lukens; son, Timothy Frye and his wife Sharon of Weatherly; brother, Hobart Fleetman and his wife Karen of Perkasie; grandchildren, Jared and Shannon Frye.

Donna was a graduate of Pennridge High School. She worked for many years as a chef in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Donna enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching movies.

Well-known Northeast Pennsylvania entertainer, musician and tireless volunteer for the Tamaqua/Carbon American Cancer Society, Carl L. "Bud" Wychulis, 65, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Bud resided on West Ruddle Street, Coaldale.

Born in Coaldale, Bud was the son of the late Carl and Mary (Erbe) Wychulis. Bud was also predeceased by his beloved wife Sandra K. (Bubble) Wychulis on Feb. 6, 2020, and daughter Angela C. (Rhubright) DeWine.

Surviving are daughter Cheryl L. (Rhubright) Martuscelli, wife of Richard of Tamaqua; brother Charles "Chet" Wychulis and his wife Diana of Reno, NV; sister Mary Ellen King of Tamaqua; granddaughter Brittany Updike; and great grandchildren, Brady, Payton and Theodore. Bud is also survived by nieces, nephews and Sandra's siblings.

A 1974 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Bud retired from Air Products and Chemicals. A talented keyboardist, singer, music arranger and entertainer, Bud proficiently played many instruments and played in numerous bands during his 50-year musical career including the DLC Trio, Sarboc, Night on the Town, Maize, Keg, Bud and George, Bill Haley’s Comets and The Mudflaps. However, he was known throughout the region for his band Remember When, which was entirely comprised of members of his family during the last 10 years of the band’s existence.
Bud and Sandy devoted countless hours to raising funds for the American Cancer Society. Bud has hosted the annual Cancer Telethon since 1981. He and Sandy operated Sandy's Dairy Bar in Hometown in the early 1980s. He was a member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday Sept. 29, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. from St. John XXIII R.C.C. of 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Friends may call on Tuesday evening Sept. 28, 2021, at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. No morning visitation.

Interment St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
