Escaped Convict Danelo Cavalcante Continues Elusive Run, Spotted Again Overnight Chester County Area

Escaped convict Danelo Cavalcante, who broke free from Chester County Prison in late August, was reportedly spotted again in the Phoenixville area during the late hours of Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

Cavalcante, known for his conviction in the brutal stabbing of his former girlfriend, executed in broad daylight, had managed to escape the confines of the Chester County Prison on August 31st, employing an unconventional method described as "crab walking" up a prison wall.

Law enforcement officials have been relentless in their pursuit of the fugitive, with a new sighting emerging overnight in the Phoenixville area. Witnesses described Cavalcante as clean-shaven, sporting a hooded sweatshirt, a dark baseball hat, green pants, and white shoes. The fugitive is believed to be possibly operating a white vehicle.

Officials have released still images captured from a video doorbell, which they say depict Cavalcante. In these images, the man is seen donning a green hooded sweatshirt and a dark baseball hat.

Moreover, authorities have reason to believe that Cavalcante may be operating a 2020 White Ford Transit van with Pennsylvania registration ZST-8818, equipped with a refrigeration unit on the top.

Law enforcement agencies are urging residents to remain vigilant and to report any sightings or information regarding Cavalcante's whereabouts immediately.

Anyone who may have seen are asked to Dial 911 or call the tip line at (717) 562-2987.
