MEET THE SCHUYLKILL COUNTY MARCHING BANDS is back, highlighting the Marching Bands from our Schuylkill County School Districts. Next to be featured for the 2023 season is the marching band from Pine Grove Area, directed by Ken Gibson.

Director Ken Gibson has been director of the band for 27 years.

The Marching Band's show for 2023 is called "Epic Movie Spectacular" and features music from 20th Century Fox, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park, and E.T.

Goals for 2023:

To improve musically, while entertaining and presenting and enthusiastic program. To return to traditions and activities pre-covid, and promote music and creativity at every performance.

Major Events Schedule for 2023:
The Cardinal Band performs at all football games and our local parades. As an added performance this year, we will be entering the Metallica Marching Band Competition and performing a special arrangement at our Past, Present and Future game on September 16th.

We invite all future band members (middle school) and past band members to join us on the field for this special evening.
