Drivers Shaken but Unharmed After Fountain Springs Crash

No major injuries were reported after a crash in Fountain Springs on Friday morning.

The crash occurred just before 12:00pm, Friday when the driver of a silver sedan crossed the double yellow line near 615 Fountain Street/Route 61 and struck a SUV.  The front left corner of both vehicles struck pushing the SUV into a utility pole.

Both drivers were evaluated by Washington Ambulance EMS and released.

The highway was closed for approximately an hour until the scene was cleared.

Responding to the scene were police from Butler Township and Ashland, along with the Friendship Fire Company from Englewood, and the Washington Ambulance.
