Beverly M. Zimmerman, 59, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, June 8th, at Edenbrook of Greenwood Hill, Pottsville.

Beverly was born on August 10, 1965, a daughter of the late Irene (Yurenko) and Marlin Kramer. She was a member of New Life Ministries, Schuylkill Haven. She graduated from Blue Mountain High School.

She liked motorcycles and was an Eagles fan.

Beverly is survived by her two daughters, Amber Ricketts, wife of Thomas and Autumn Zimmerman; grandsons Hunter Ricketts and Elijah Gonzalez, nieces and nephews, as well as her brother, Randy Kramer. She was predeceased by her grandson Miguel Gonzalez on December 20, 2011.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 20th, at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg at 11 AM with Pastor James Fidler officiating. Visitation with family will be from 9 until time of service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home, Inc. 116 South Liberty Street, Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Donald L. Koons
, 60, of Cumbola, formerly of Tower City, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.

Born in Pottsville on October 23, 1964, a son of Mary Schaeffer Koons, Saint Clair, and the late Joseph Koons.

Donald attended Williams Valley High School.

He was a welder his entire life, working for various companies.

Donald belonged to the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers.

He will be remembered for his tinkering and his ability to fix anything. Donald enjoyed riding four wheelers and shooting darts and pool.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Nichole Koons (Gene Sattler), Tower City; two grandchildren, Kareana Sattler, Pittsburgh, and Izak Sattler, Tower City; a stepson, Corey Drebot (Erin), Pittsburgh; siblings, Denise Fredericks, Jon Koons, Karl Koons, Robert Koons, and Melissa Wentzel; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Viewing will be from 12:00-1:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home, 644 E Grand Avenue, Tower City, PA 17980.

Robert E. Schoffstall
, 73, of Tremont, formerly of Williamstown, passed away Friday June 6, 2025 at the Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Lykens on October 16, 1951, a son of the late Walter Sr. and Betty Dietrich Schoffstall.

He was a 1970 graduate of Williams Valley High School and the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit.

He formerly belonged to the Muir Foursquare Gospel Church.

Bob had a passion for all kinds of sports, but bowling was by far his favorite. He was a member of the United States Bowling Congress and loved spending time bowling with his daughter Stacy. Bob also was involved with the Special Olympics, and he enjoyed trains.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Schoffstall, Jr.

Surviving are his daughter, Stacy Schoffstall, Schuylkill Haven; a sister, Judy Hoffman, Williamstown; a brother, Darrell Schoffstall, Conneaut Lake; close friends who he viewed as siblings, Keith Strouse and Wendy Cunningham; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM from The Well, Muir Foursquare Gospel Church, 111 E Washington St, Muir, PA 17957. A visitation will be from 10-11 at the church. Bob will be laid to rest with parents in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home, 644 E Grand Avenue, Tower City, PA 17980 to help with expenses.
