Alfred J. Tarantino, 93, of Minersville passed away peacefully while a resident of Seton Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Minersville, January 3, 1932, he was the son of the late Carmen and Ann Spina Tarantino.

Alfred was married to the former Anne A. Carvalho who survives him.

He worked as a general contractor throughout his life. Alfred later was a teacher at the Vo Tech in Leesport.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Brian.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his three sons: David, William, and Robert Tarantino.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven is entrusted with the services. Interment will be on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.grabowskifuneralhomes.com

Dean S. Kline
, 64, of Sheppton, PA, passed away at home on July 12, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Jenks, step-father, Jim Jenks, and his great-grandmother, Dorothy Trumbauer.

Dean loved his family fiercely. He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane (Dorse) Kline, only son, Brad Kline, youngest daughter, Melissa Kline, and eldest daughter, Melony Kline. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Mikaela Kayal, grandsons: Gavin, & Dylan Yasembowski, and granddaughter, Paige Yasembowski, and his sisters: Tammy Reigle, Cindy Birli, Brenda Church, & Cathy Weightknecht who loved him so much and stood by his side until the end. Dean was their only brother and the oldest sibling. He was not only their big brother, but their protector and friend.

Dean and his canine companion, Clementine, loved each other so much. Clementine passed away three days after Dean and the Kline family takes comfort in knowing that the two of them are together again.

Dean enjoyed traveling to Florida, as well as the outdoors-especially camping and yard work.

Soar high, Dean! We will meet again. You are loved, forever!

Robert J. Renninger, Sr.
, 80, of Tremont, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, July 21, 2025 with his family by his side.

Bob was born in Pottsville, January 21, 1945, a son of the late Ephraim and Mary Stine Renninger.

He retired after 44 years with Richmond Screw and Anchor/Dayton Superior, Tremont, where Bob belonged to the United Steel Workers Union.

He was a member of Most Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish, Tremont, the Tremont Area Senior Citizens, where he enjoyed taking numerous trips with his wife and friends, and he was a life member of the Black Rock Hunting Club where he was recognized for being a member for over 50 years. Bob was also a member of the Newtown Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, or just taking in the nature. He was an avid NASCAR fan, always looking forward to his yearly trip to Florida with Linda to Daytona. Bob enjoyed collecting trains and had an impressive collection. Above all, his family was the center of his world. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Renninger, Jr.; two grandchildren, Jessica and David Renninger; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Weiner; a sister-in-law, Alice Chupick.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Linda Chupick Renninger, whom they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in September; two children, Michael Renninger, Tremont, and Melissa Wessner and her husband Wade, Pine Grove; three grandchildren, Kaelen Wessner, Megan Griffiths and her husband Andrew, and Lauren Wessner; a sister, LouAnn Weiner, Newtown; a sister-in-law, Lisa Boris and her husband Michael, Shenandoah; two brothers-in-law, Tom Chupick, Florida and Jack Chupick, Tremont. Several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 11:00 am from Most Blessed Trinity Parish. Visitation will be from 10-11 am at that the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in Bob's name can be made to the Most Blessed Trinity Parish,113 Cherry St, Tremont, PA 17981.

Mary T. Strenkoski, of Brier City, formerly of Minersville, passed away Saturday July 19, 2025 at her home.

Born in Pottsville April 15, 1946, she was a daughter of the late George and Victoria (Kroznuskie) Lipsky.

She was a graduate of Minersville High School and a member of Holy Family Parish of Minersville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Sister Bernadette Lipsky; brother Kenneth Lipsky;

Surviving are her husband of 60 years Joseph G. Strenkoski; Son Joseph Strenkoski and his wife Lisa; Daughter Heather Breisch and her husband Chistopher; 2 Sisters Yvonne Struzinsky; Joan Raczka; Brother George Lipsky and his wife Patricia; Grandchildren Gabriel Robitaille and his wife Abigail; Sayer Breisch; Talya Breisch; Alyssa Strenkoski and her husband Tristan; Hope Strenkoski; Julia Strenkoski; Nieces, Nephews and Many Friends

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday July 27, 2025 from St. Matthew the Evangelist RCC, 139 Spruce St. Minersville, PA 17954 with Rev. Leo Maletz officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus #2 Cemetery, Minersville. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Cancer Society. Dutcavich Funeral Home & Cremation Care Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Charles H. Culton
, 72, a lifelong resident of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at UPMC- Harrisburg with his family by his side.

Charlie was born in Williamstown on Thursday, April 16, 1953, a son of the late Edward and Iva Houtz Culton.

He was a graduate of the Williams Valley High School, Harrisburg Area Community College, and Penn State University, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Charlie was retired from CET Engineering, Inc., where he was an environmental engineer, supervising the construction of water and sewer plants along with water lines.

He was of the Protestant faith and most recently enjoyed watching the 700 Club.

Charlie was an avid sports fan, with Penn State and the Philadelphia Phillies being his favorite. He was a season ticket holder for many years. Charlie could always be found at Williams Valley High School sporting events. He looked forward to spending time with his friends cheering on the Vikings. He also volunteered his time as the videographer for the Williams Valley boys basketball team.

Charlie enjoyed the simple things in life, whether it be spending time with family and friends, taking care of his immaculate gardens in his yard, or cooking for his family. He will be missed by his family, friends, and the Williams Valley community.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Culton and a brother, Terry Culton.

Charlie is survived by two sisters, Janice Culton, Williamstown and Elaine Braucher and her husband Jack, Harrisburg; a nephew, Edward Culton and his wife Ashley, Harrisburg; two nieces, Pauline Ellis and her husband Mark, and Colleen Culton, both of Tower City; a great nephew, Matthew Ellis, Tower City.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City, with Pastor Robert Stoner officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel. Charlie will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.
