Charges have been filed against an Ashland woman following an alleged vehicle-related incident that occurred in June.
According to court documents, Alexis Mae Graham, 21, of Ashland, was charged on August 12, 2025, in connection with an incident that took place on June 13, 2025.
Graham is facing multiple charges, including misdemeanor Simple Assault, misdemeanor Recklessly Endangering Another Person, as well as Careless Driving and Reckless Driving.
The charges stem from an altercation reported to Ashland Police by a woman who told police that a person in a blue Mazda had been harassing her and her husband, and during the incident, attempted to strike her husband with the vehicle.
Ashland Police Officer Brandon Gonzalez responded to the call and later located Graham and her father, Michael Graham, at their residence on Centre Street. Both admitted to being at the victim's home during the dispute. Graham allegedly told police she sped her vehicle toward the couple but stopped short. She claimed her actions were in response to the caller's husband allegedly holding a brick and appearing ready to throw it at her father.
The caller provided police with cellphone video of the incident, which reportedly captured the sound of a vehicle accelerating and abruptly stopping. Additional videos of the confrontation were later turned over to authorities, showing the incident from different angles.
Following the investigation, police advised both parties to avoid further contact and to notify law enforcement if harassment occurred again.
Graham is scheduled to appear before Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli on September 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m a preliminary hearing on the charges.
