Borefn in Reading, PA on January 7, 1992, he was the son of David Russel Mengle and Carol Ann (Yaneck) Oliver.
In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by a brother David Mengle and his dogs Pecan and Cashew.
Private services will be held.

Sylvia N. Weaver, affectionately known as “Mimi,” 89, formerly of Coaldale, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2025, as a guest of Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly.
Born on November 7, 1935, in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Mildred E. (Kemp) Houser. A proud graduate of Tamaqua High School, Sylvia worked at the office of Dr. Micheal Trainer for many years as the receptionist. She was a gifted gardener, lovingly tending to each bloom with care and attention.
Mimi was warm and deeply devoted to those she loved. She found joy in the rhythm of her days— morning coffee, afternoon sweets, and weekly hair appointments. She delighted in bird watching, especially hummingbirds and blue jays, and shared a lifelong affection for dogs. A longtime resident of Coaldale, she enjoyed walks through her neighborhood and cherished beach bus trips with her brother . Her long phone calls with family and gentle window side observations remain treasured memories.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Cutter” Weaver; son, Kenneth M. Weaver; sisters, Gloria C. Jones and Shirley P. Harkins; and brother, William C. Houser
Sylvia is survived by her son, Kevin S. Weaver and his wife Betsy of Tamaqua; brothers, Barry L. Houser, Neal B . Houser; grandsons, Kyle J. Weaver, Matthew J. Weaver and his wife Jess, and Chase W. Weaver; along with her niece and nephews. Her greatest joy was her family, and though she lived simply, her life was full beyond measure.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the funeral home.
Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
Interment Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Karla was born on Tuesday, December 26, 1961 in Lykens. She was a 1979 graduate of Williams Valley High School.
Karla began her career as a precious metal operator, a position she held for over 28 years. She worked for AMP, TYCO, and retired from TE Connectivity.
She will be remembered for her vibrant personality, and she could often be found socializing with her many friends. She was excited and proud of the home she and Tom recently purchased. Karla enjoyed gardening, cooking, and recently took up the hobby of collecting marbles. Her dogs Khloe and Maizlyn brought her great joy. Above all else, her family was her pride and joy. She loved her children unconditionally.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Evans, and an infant son, Aaron Lettich.
Karla is survived by her husband who she dearly loved, Thomas Griffith; her mother, Martha Pluswick, Williamstown; her stepmother, Julia Evans, Tower City; her pride and joy, her children, Lauren Donmoyer (Dakotah), Tower City, and Evan Lettich (Erin), Williamstown; her beloved grandchildren, Khloe, Jasper, and Maizlyn; brothers, Harry Evans, Alaska, Bryan Evans (Leah), Tower City, and Zach Reinoehl (Ashley), Pine Grove; several, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City, with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel. Karla will be laid to rest in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., 644 E. Grand Avenue, Tower City, PA 17980 to help with expenses.
Born in Pottsville, July 8, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Anna Docherty.
Denise attended St. Clair school and Pottsville High School. She went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Denise worked most of her career in geriatric and pediatric care.
She was talented and accomplished in sewing and needlework. She learned from a young age how to sew from her Godmother Betty.
Denise’s greatest love was for her grandchildren. She cherished being a grandmother to Nicholas and Valerie.
Denise was married to James Guy Wagner II who survives her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and best friend Cheryl Frantz.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children: Brian Wagner, husband to Taryn of Alabama and daughter Jamie Wagner companion to Jason Huesman. She is also survived by grandchildren Nicholas and Valerie Wagner along with siblings; Donna Docherty, Francis “Pat” Docherty and Richard “Rick” Docherty.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at Grabowski Funeral Home in Schuylkill Haven at 11:00 A.M. A viewing will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
