Paul Techentine, 91, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Saturday, August 23rd, at Edenbrook of Greenwood Hill, Pottsville.Paul was born in Mahanoy City, PA, on September 7, 1933, a son of the late Helen (Rutkowsky) and Hilbert Techentine.
He graduated from Mahanoy City High School in 1952.
He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War.
He last worked for Atlas Powder, Tamaqua
He belonged to the American Legion in Frackville and Ashland. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, and spending time with his family.
He was the husband of the late Jean (Yeingst) Techentine.
Paul is survived by a daughter, Paula Wonsock, of Mahanoy City; a son, Todd, husband of Le-Ann, of Barnesville; and a sister, Rose Kalinock, of Philadelphia.
He is survived by his son-in-law, Joseph Amato; 5 Grandchildren: Marci, wife of James Pehanick, of Hazleton; Paul Wonsock, husband of Kristie, of Barnesville; Sara Macaluso, wife of Mark, of Frackville; Erin Hillard, wife of Christopher, of Philadelphia; and Todd Techentine, husband of Makayla, of Moscow. 8 Great Grandchildren; Andrew and Kyle Pollack; Kenna, Juliana, and Ryleigh Wonsock; Ella, Luke, and Noah Macaluso; and many nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Amato, and son-in-law, John Wonsock, a brother, George, and sisters Mrytle Pierce, Margie Orlando, Grace Paone, Darlene Griffith, Dorothy McCabe, and Helen Seitz.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
Interment private at the convenience of the Family, Skyview Memorial Park, Tamaqua, PA.

Vincent Michael Dodds, 82, St. Clair, passed away Saturday August 24, 2024, at Schuylkill Center.
Born in New York, April 10, 1943 he was a son of the late James Vand Mary (Ganarcik) Dodds.
He was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville
Vincent served in the US Navy in Vietnam
He was a Machine Operator at Hexcel and also worked for Burlington Homes.
He was a member of the former St Mary RCC, St. Clair. He enjoyed Bowling and Hunting
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James Dodds; a Niece Deborah Williams.
Surviving are his wife Lois (Pretti) Dodds; son David Halsey of St. Clair; Grandchildren Michael, Sarah and Amanda Halsey; Great Grandchildren Jason Donmoyer, Ivey Applegate, Stella Smeltz, Amarrah Willis and Madelynn Drey; Brother Thomas Dodss of Pottsville; Sister Barbara Williams of St. Clair; Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:30 PM Tuesday September 2, 2025 at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 N. Second St. Saint Clair, PA 17970. Friends may call from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home . In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17970. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Born in Pottsville, PA on November 10, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Elizabeth K. (Williams) Mason.
Elizabeth worked as a Special Ed. Driver for Schuylkill I.U. 29 School in MarLIn and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Colihan, Jr. and brothers: John, Bernard, David, Thomas, William, and Patrick Mason
Elizabeth is survived by two daughters: Nicole (Zedonek ) Connor and Lisa Becker and her husband David; grandchildren: Devlin Taylor, Matiah Jacobson, and Desiree Becker; sisters: Bridgett (Inez) Tassone, Marie Lepine and her husband James, and Josephine (Elaine) Hossler; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville at 11:30AM on Tuesday, September 2nd, with Rev. Rich Clement officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday from 9-11AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon.
Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.

Gary Krise Sr., 60, of Frackville, passed away, with family by his side, Monday August 25, 2025, at the Broad Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville. Born in Philadelphia, July 3, 1965, he is the son of Janet Fetterolf Krise of Lavelle, and the late Melvin Krise. He attended North Schuylkill High School, and was employed as a roof truss builder with Universal Forest Products of Gordon until his retirement. Gary enjoyed carpentry and wood crafting. He loved watching the Philadelphia Eagles winning two super bowls, and enjoying the fireworks displays on his birthday. Gary loved his grandchildren and his pride was being a grandfather.
