
Motorists traveling through several areas of Schuylkill County next week should be prepared for daytime lane restrictions as PennDOT maintenance forces conduct pothole patching work on multiple state routes.
Barry and Hegins Townships – PA 901
Crews will patch potholes on PA 901 between PA 901 and PA 125 beginning Tuesday, October 14, 2025, through Friday, October 17, 2025. Work will take place daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Lane restrictions will be in effect during work hours.

Pothole repairs are also scheduled for PA 924 between Sheppton and the Luzerne County line. Work is set for October 14–17, 2025, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Motorists should expect lane restrictions with flagging operations.
