The rhythm of jazz will fill the Blue Mountain High School Auditorium this Saturday, November 15, 2025, as the Schuylkill County Band Association proudly presents the 2nd Annual Schuylkill County Jazz Festival.
The concert begins at 12:00 PM and features student musicians representing every school district across Schuylkill County.
Under the direction of Guest Conductor Mr. Larry Fisher and Host Director Mr. Christopher Jay Evans, the festival brings together some of the county’s most talented young performers for a one-day celebration of jazz music. The students have been selected by their schools to participate in the countywide ensemble, offering them the opportunity to collaborate with peers from throughout the region while learning from professional educators and musicians.
Students will rehearse under Mr. Fisher’s leadership before taking the stage for the concert.
Sponsored by the Schuylkill County Band Association, the annual festival continues to grow after a successful inaugural year.
Admission to the concert is $5 and community members are encouraged to attend and support the young musicians.
