Troopers were dispatched to 812 Pine Street in Ashland Borough for a reported death investigation. Upon arrival and through further investigation, police determined that an argument had occurred between two residents of the home: Emerson Beacham and Daniel Dugan.
According to State Police, during the dispute, Beacham shot Dugan with a shotgun, killing him. Beacham then turned the weapon on himself, taking his own life.
Troopers confirmed that the incident was isolated to the residence, and there is no threat to the public.
