Additional Charges Filed in Girardville Bar Stabbing Incident

Pennsylvania State Police have filed charges against two additional individuals in connection with the violent bar assault at Guntown Bar and Billiards that left multiple people stabbed last month.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, Mandi Beaman, 28, of Berwick, and Anthony Welikonich, 35, of Frackville, were both charged on December 12, 2025, following a continued investigation into the November 22, 2025, incident at the North 2nd Street establishment in Girardville.

Mandi Beaman has been charged with:

  • One count of Misdemeanor 2 Simple Assault
  • Two counts of Summary Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact

Anthony Welikonich has been charged with:

  • One count of Misdemeanor 2 Simple Assault
  • One count of Summary Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact

Both Beaman and Welikonich are scheduled to appear for preliminary hearings on January 28, 2026, before Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli.

The charges stem from a late-night fight that escalated into a stabbing around 11:30 p.m. on November 22, 2025, at Guntown Bar and Billiards. State police were notified shortly after midnight that three individuals had been transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital–East with stab wounds.

Investigators interviewed the on-duty bartender, Shawn Griffiths, who reported that a group entered the bar and immediately targeted Colby Kupusnick, who had been sitting at the bar. Griffiths said he attempted to break up the fight and suffered a knife wound to his ribs during the chaos.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, surveillance video reviewed by investigators shows Hayley Hammer, previously charged in the case, entering the bar with Beaman and confronting Kupusnick. The footage depicts Hammer striking Kupusnick multiple times, followed by Beaman throwing a pool ball and later striking him in the face.

Police say the video also shows Welikonich pushing Kupusnick to the ground and striking him multiple times as the fight escalated, with several other individuals joining in. Kupusnick was reportedly stomped on and assaulted by multiple people before managing to get away.

Welikonich was later observed checking his shoulder for blood, and investigators believe he was stabbed during the altercation when his shirt lifted, exposing his back.

Kupusnick told police he did not recognize his attackers and believed he was defending himself during the incident. He confirmed being struck with a pool ball and assaulted by several people.
