The event, held at the Columbia Hose Fire Company along West Centre Street, brought together a wide range of vendors, organizations, and conservation groups from across Schuylkill County and beyond.
Hosted by State Sen. Dave Argall (R-29) along with State Reps. Dane Watro (R-116), Tim Twardzik (R-123), Jamie Barton (R-124), and JoAnne Stehr (R-107), the expo provided attendees with opportunities to connect with local businesses, learn about outdoor programs, and explore resources tied to Pennsylvania’s sportsmen heritage.
Throughout the morning and early afternoon, visitors browsed vendor tables featuring hunting and fishing programs, conservation initiatives, and information on outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the region. Families, seasoned sportsmen, and newcomers alike were seen engaging with exhibitors and learning more about ways to get involved in outdoor activities.
Schuylkill County Sheriff Shawn Butler and his staff were also on hand with his mobile license to carry unit.
A hunter-trapper education course was also held earlier in the day, offering participants the chance to complete required training and further promote safe and responsible practices among Pennsylvania’s hunting community.
Event organizers and participating legislators said they were very pleased with the turnout.
Officials expressed appreciation to the vendors, organizations, and attendees who helped make the event a success and indicated interest in continuing similar events in the future.
