City of Pottsville Accepting Applications for Code Enforcement and Compliance Officer


The City of Pottsville is seeking qualified applicants to fill the full-time position of Code Enforcement and Compliance Officer, with applications being accepted through 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026.

According to the city, the position is responsible for enforcing municipal codes and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Candidates should have knowledge of code enforcement procedures, building and construction practices, and municipal regulations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also considered essential for the role.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain the appropriate Uniform Construction Code (U.C.C.) certifications. The city noted that training will be provided for motivated, career-minded individuals pursuing the position.
