Atty. Anthony Urban, 90, of Sarasota, FL, passed away Friday, August 14th, in Butler Twp. Arrangements will be announced.

Born in Pottsville, February 11, 1939, he was the son of the late Raymond and Eleanore Kissinger Silfies.
He was a 1953 grade school graduate of Palo Alto School and a 1957 graduate of Pottsville Area High School.
After passing a draft physical in November of 1961 with a right leg impediment since birth, he was inducted into the Army on January 23, 1962. In addition to two years of active duty, he served another 6 months on mobilized active duty with his army reserve unit, the 365th Engineer Combat Heavy Battalion, Schuylkill Haven during Desert Storm in 1991.
He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, three Army Achievement Medals, three Army Commendation Medals, and Meritorious Service Medal. Overall, he served the remaining portion of 32 years military service in the army reserve and retired in 1999 as a Certified Warrant Officer O4 Property Book Officer. He gave all credit to God for his successful military career.
Roy worked as an army civil service employee for 43 years at Fort Indiantown Gap and Army Reserve Centers in Reading and Schuylkill Haven retiring in 2000.
He worked an additional 13 years delivering auto parts for the Pottsville Auto Parts. During his civilian and miliary service supervised others and briefed the battalion commander and his staff about logistical matters.
Roy was a member of the Associated United Stated Army (AUSA) and the National Association Active Retired Federal Employees (NARFE). He was a Sunday school teacher at Evangelical U.M. Church in Pottsville, for a number of years.
His retired hobby was collecting free autographs from players with the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, Penn State, and Hershey Bears, his favorite teams and quality players from all teams. He had accumulated over 1,800 signatures including 210 Hall of Famers.
His ancestral chart dates back to 1738 when his 5th great grandfather Johann Henrich Silvius, 25 years old, arrived at Port of Philadelphia on September 16, 1738, aboard the ship “Queen Elizabeth”.
In addition to his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Muth in August of 2015
Roy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Ann Ford Silfies and his daughter Michelle Ann of Tamaqua.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven at 11:00 A.M. A viewing will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment with military honors will follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Ralph was born in Chambersburg, PA on June 25, 1926, a son of the late Grace and Isaac Martin.
He was the widower of Helen (Katchmark) Martin.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg. Ralph worked as a heavy equipment operator building roads including the Pennsylvania Turnpike. He worked for Robert J. Bazley and Eastern Industries. He loved to hunt deer when he was able and enjoyed gardening and maintaining his beautiful property..
His family was very important to him.
Ralph is survived by two daughters, Doreen Korell, wife of Glen, of Orwigsburg; Debra Trubilla, wife of Charles of Orwigsburg, and a son,Timothy Martin, husband of Jacquie; grandchildren Jason, Erin, Sheena and Matthew, as well as four great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Herbert Martin, husband of Donna and Arthur Martin, husband of Karen.
He was predeceased by his son Roland Martin and grandson Bryan Smith and brother Carl Martin.
A Religious Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, August 17th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Michael Petresky officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM in the church.
Interment at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven, PA.

Richard was born in Schuylkill Haven on November 1, 1940, a son of the late Carrie Mae (Yeich) and Chester Lee Moyer .
He was the husband of Sandra K. (Eichert ) Moyer .
He was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven, and a lifetime member of the Rainbow Hose Fire Company. Richard worked as a truck driver for Matlack, Inc. in Northhampton and also Lynn Ladder, Orwigsburg. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed baking, especially baking cakes and also making candy.
Richard is survived by a daughter, Cynthia , wife of Richard Donati of Orwigsburg and two sons Benjamin, husband of Latonya Moyer, Navarre, FL and Anthony Moyer , also of Navarre, FL; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his son Richard C. Moyer, Jr. and brothers Kenneth, Walter and Frank Moyer; sister Carol Potts and infant granddaughter Angelina.
A religious service will be held on Saturday August 22 at 1 PM at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven with Rev. Matthew Carpenter officiating. The public is invited to call from 11 AM until the time of service.
Interment will follow at St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery, Friedensburg.
