Born on December 24, 1930, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, Leroy was the son of the late Kenneth and (Gertrude (Kreiger)) Mock. Rooted in a tradition of service and community, his life was a testament to dedication, hard work, and the enduring bonds of family and friendship.
Leroy proudly served his country in the United States Navy, exemplifying patriotism and integrity throughout his life. He graduated from Hazleton High School, and his professional journey led him to Air Products, where he worked as a machinist for over twenty-five years, building not only a successful career but also lifelong relationships with colleagues.
An active member of his community, Leroy was a founding member of Christ (Primitive Methodist Church), where he faithfully served as treasurer, contributing to the spiritual and practical well-being of his congregation. Later in life, he found a new church home as a member of Relevant Church of Allentown, deepening his connections within the faith community.
Leroy’s civic spirit extended far beyond the walls of the church. He was a valued member of the Tamaqua Elks, the Tamaqua American Legion, and the Air Pro Retirees, the International Association of Machinists, all organizations that provided him lasting friendships and opportunities for service. His passion for woodworking was well-known; it brought him joy and provided both creative fulfillment and treasured gifts for those around him.
Leroy’s proudest legacy is his family. He is survived by his children: Jeffrey Mock of New Ringgold, and (Kim), wife of Dr. Balint Balog of Hummelstown. He was a deeply beloved grandfather—“Pop”—to his grandchildren: Dr. Sarah Balog, Ryan Mock, and Alex Balog, all of whom brought immense happiness and pride to his life. His sister, Elayne Dellatore of Florida, also survives him.
Leroy was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Mock and Shirley Schneider, whose memories remained dear to him. He will also be missed by (the family’s) loyal lab, Hank, who was a constant companion.
A service to celebrate Leroy’s life will be held at (Fort) Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on October 20, 2026 at 1:30 P.M., military honors will be bestowed.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960.

Born on February 20, 1961 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late George C. Sr. and Ina P. Kemmerling Zerbe.
Diana was a member of Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. She graduated from Pine Grove Area High School in 1979 and had been employed as a seamstress at the former Canoe Mfg., Pine Grove. She had been a bartender and enjoyed sewing and shooting pool.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Dean L Brown on May 11, 2007, a son, Adam Brown, and three brothers, Herbert Zerbe, Sr., George Zerbe, Jr. and Robert Zerbe.
Surviving are a son Brent Brown of Pine Grove, a step son, Jamie Brown, a nephew and also her Godson, Herbert Zerbe, Jr., two Brothers, Richard Zerbe, Michael and wife Ann Zerbe, a sister, Mary Anne wife of Gary Brown all of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., with Pastor Paul Cronin officiating. There will be a viewing on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Salem Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Alpha Health Services, 183 West City Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.

William G. "Chub" Scheibley, 85, a lifelong resident of Tremont, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August, 13, 2026.
Born in Pottsvile on Saturday, November 2, 1940, a son of the late Glenn and Edna Boyer Scheibley.
He was a United States Army National Guard veteran.
Chub worked several jobs throughout his life, including at the Coaldale Hospital, Tremont Borough, and Pine Grove Trailer Plant. He retired from the tannery in Fleetwood.
He was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ, Tremont. Chub was a member of the Tremont Fire Company, where he was recently honored for his 50 years of service. He also had been a driver for the Tremont EMS and belonged to the Little Run Sportsman Club.
Chub was a devoted NASCAR fan, especially when it came to Dale Earnhardt. He enjoyed playing cards, with euchre being a particular favorite. Chub also enjoyed collecting a variety of things, and took pride in the treasures he found along the way. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and bowling. Chub could often be found tending to his garden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Diane Imschweiler Scheibley, 2012; an infant daughter, Billie Jo; a brother, Ronald "Pat" Scheibley.
Surviving are his four children, James Scheibley (Pam), Tremont, Lisa Scheibley (Shane McSurdy), Tremont, Theresa Becher (Jim), Pine Grove, Pamela Kintzel (Jamie), Pine Grove; eight grandchildren, Tyler Haas (Lindsey Haines), Brandon Scheibley (Aimee), Joshua Scheibley (Brooke), Samantha Scheibley, Caitlyn and Christina Becher, Dillon Kintzel (Natalie) and Dalton Kintzel; two great grandchildren, Nolan Scheibley and Presley Kintzel with another on the way; three sisters, Carolyn Brander, Pine Grove, Bonnie D'Agostino, Pine Grove, and Connie "Peggy" Pellish, Seltzer City; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel. Chub will be laid to rest in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont. Following the committal service, a luncheon and time of fellowship will be held at Tremont Fire Company.

Bob was born in Reinerton, a son of the late Floyd and Beulah Welker Zimmerman. He was a 1964 graduate of Porter Tower High School.
Bob was a proud United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
He retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where was the maintenance supervisor of the Department of General Services.
Bob was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City, and the Tower City American Legion.
He enjoyed fly fishing, golfing, woodworking and hunting. He was also an avid fan of the Philladelphia Phillies and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Bob could often be found working around his home, taking great pride in its appearance.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Jack Zimmerman, Betty Morrison, and Shirley Zimmerman.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Sharon Artz Zimmerman, to whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage with on August 3rd; two children, Donnie Zimmerman (Anita) and LeAnn Unger (Kevin Heaney), both of Tower City; two granddaughters, Brooke Unger (Chris) and Laurel Unger (Lauren), both of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
Following Bob's wishes, there will be no formal services.
