Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville will increase DUI enforcement efforts through , including conducting a sobriety checkpoint.
The enforcement period began Friday, , and will focus on identifying drivers operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.
State police said thousands of people are injured or killed each year in alcohol- and drug-related crashes across Pennsylvania. The increased patrols are part of the department’s effort to make highways across the Commonwealth safer.
Troopers will take appropriate enforcement action against drivers found to be impaired.
