With less than two weeks until the Schuylkill Stampede returns on , organizers are encouraging visitors to purchase rodeo tickets early after last year’s event sold out.
The event will take place at the Schuylkill County Fairgrounds, 2270 Fair Road, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. It will combine a free afternoon festival featuring live music, food, shopping and family activities with a ticketed professional rodeo beginning at 5 p.m.

Free Festival and Family Activities
Festival gates open at 1 p.m., with free admission to the afternoon activities. Visitors can browse food and craft vendors and enjoy live bands from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Family attractions scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. include a petting zoo, pony rides, goat snuggling and a mechanical bull. Free line dancing will take place from 2 to 4 p.m.

Guests can choose between general admission and VIP rodeo tickets. According to organizers, the VIP package includes preferred seating, food and Yuengling beer.
Advance ticket purchases are encouraged because last year’s professional rodeo sold out.
