Born in Tower City, September 22, 1955, a son of Grace Fesig Underkoffler, Muir and the late Carl Underkoffler Sr. Carl was a 1973 graduate of Williams Valley High School.
Carl was retired from Harmon Stove, Halifax. After retirement, he worked as a custodian at the Williams Valley School District for several years.
Nothing made Carl happier than spending time with his family and friends. When not working around his backyard, he could often be found with a fishing rod in hand headed to his favorite spot. He had a lifelong love for fishing.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 33 years, Lecia Wollyung Underkoffler; three sons, Carl Underkoffler III and his wife Tiffany, Tower City, Brandon Underkoffler, Harrisburg, and Shane Underkoffler and his wife Nikki, Williamstown; four grandchildren, Zakary, Ally, Owen, and Alayna Underkoffler; a brother, David Underkoffler and his wife Deb; two nephews, Eric Underkoffler, Mechanicsburg and Shawn Underkoffler, Texas; a niece, Morgan Updegrove, Williamstown.
A Celebration of Carl's Life will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 at the chapel. Following the service, everyone is invited to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for a luncheon and a time of fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 415 E. Grand Avenue, Tower City, PA in Carl's memory.
