OBITUARY: Louise K Machamer, 82, of Williamstown

Louise K Machamer
, of Williamstown, passed away Thursday morning, October 20, 2022, at her home after a courageous 15-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Louise was born in Williamstown on January 22, 1940, a daughter of the late John and Mae Zimmerman Rautzahn. She was a 1959 graduate of the former Williamstown High School.

Louise was retired from the financial office of the Kimmel Coal and Package Company, Inc. She was also employed at the former Don’s Food Rite, Lykens.

She was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church. Louise and Ron enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City, taking camping trips with friends to various states, spending time at their camp along the Susquehanna and Juniata rivers, fishing, archery, reading and crafts.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Ronald E Machamer; her son Ronald E Machamer and his wife Elizabeth of Palmyra; two grandsons, Jordan Machamer and his wife Lindsey of Palmyra, and Eric Machamer and his wife Sarha of Smithfield NC; 5 great grandchildren, Adelaide, Lucy, Vienna, Isaac and Maverick; one sister, Joan Rodichok and her husband Chal; two brothers, Ronald Rautzahn and his wife Peg, and John Rautzahn and his wife Anna, all of Williamstown; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 28th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Burial will be in the Williamstown Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:00 am at the chapel.
