OBITUARY: Richard W. Grabosky, 85, of Ringtown

Richard W. Grabosky, 85, of Ringtown, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, at his residence.

Rich was born Sept. 1, 1937, in Frackville, a son of the late Helen (Barowsky) and Watsyl Grabosky.

He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Sheppton.

Rich graduated from West Mahanoy Township High School, Class of 1955.

He served in the Army.

Rich was a steel worker at Carpenter Technology, Reading.

He was a member at the Frackville Elks and Park Crest Fish & Game. He was known for being an avid hunter, fisherman and anything outdoors.

Rich was the husband of Joan (Baddick) Grabosky.

Rich is survived by a son, Rick, husband of Angie, of Brandonville; a stepdaughter, Joan, wife of Ken Gibbons, of Ringtown; two stepsons, Albert Kutsko, of Auburn, and Martin, husband of Vicky Kutsko, of Brandonville; a sister, Eileen Herb, of Elkton, Md.; grandchildren, Sarah, Anna, Leah Grabosky, Kenneth Gibbons Jr., Jennifer Wachhaus, wife of Jeff, Megan Tomtishen, wife of Joe, and Kayla Kutsko and her fiancé, Ed Masse; two great- grandchildren, Jamie and Gretchen; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at St. Joseph Church, Sheppton, with the Rev. Dominick Pham officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, Sheppton. Interment will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Frackville.
