WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING.


* LOCATIONS...PORTIONS OF THE SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND LOWER SUSQUEHANNA RIVER VALLEY.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW. A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN IS POSSIBLE ON THURSDAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS...6 INCHES OR MORE POSSIBLE.

* TIMING...WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY.

* IMPACTS...ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY. TRAVEL MAY BE DANGEROUS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY.

* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...NIGHT TIME TEMPERATURES IN THE 20S...DAY TIME HIGHS IN THE LOWER 30S.
