* AT 520 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR ALTAMONT...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... POTTSVILLE...TAMAQUA...SHENANDOAH...MINERSVILLE...MAHANOY CITY... FRACKVILLE...ST. CLAIR...ASHLAND...MCADOO...PORT CARBON... TREMONT...GIRARDVILLE...HOMETOWN...TUSCARORA...NEW PHILADELPHIA... ONEIDA...GRIER CITY-PARK CREST...LAVELLE...MARLIN AND ALTAMONT.
