Man Stabbed in Tamaqua Late Thursday

A man was stabbed during a dispute Thursday in Tamaqua.


According to the Times News, Thomas Karl Fahringer, stabbed Robert Laughlin several times in the arm and stomach during a dispute in the street on Bowe St., Tamaqua.

Fahringer had left the scene but later returned and was taken into custody.

According to court records, Fahringer was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of an instrument of crime and harassment.

He was committed to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post 10 percent of his $25,000 bail.

The victim was treated at the hospital and released.
