PIAA Expands Classes for High School Sports

On Wednesday afternoon, the PIAA Board voted to expand it's classes.

The most notable will be for football, basketball, baseball, and softball which will expand from 4 to 6.

Girls volleyball, boys soccer and girls soccer are all moving to four classes. Field hockey is bumping up to three classes, and boys and girls lacrosse are jumping to two classes.

The changes will take affect for the 2016-2017 seasons.
