Lorraine L. Kramer, 86, of Lavelle, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East, .

Lorraine was born in Lavelle, PA on January 19, 1930, a daughter of Perry and Ida (Lute) Kramer.

She was preceded in death by her lifetime companion Warren Klaiss.

She worked as a seamstress in local garment factories.

She is survived by her caregivers and friends Alan and Sandra Lipshaw, and their children Shaun, Ashley and Jason; a nephew Gary Snyder; as well as cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Snyder in 2014.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 10-11 AM at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, where the funeral service will follow at 11:00 am.

Interment to follow in Citizens Cemetery, Lavelle.

Mary L. Reese, 91, Shenandoah, passed away unexpectedly Monday, shortly after arrival, at Lehigh Valley Health- Schuylkill, South Jackson St. Pottsville.

Born in Shenandoah she was a daughter of the late Charles and Amelia ( Reisig ) Ludes. She had been employed as a hemmer in the local garment industry having last worked at Carie Fashions, until her retirement.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Cornelius F. “ Connie “ Reese in 1998, her son Neil P. Reese, two sisters; Verna Ludes and Catherine Zimmerman, three brothers; Albert, John and Paul Ludes.

Mary is survived by her daughter Tricia R, and her husband Wayne Jordan, Center Valley, grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Jennifer Jordan, Alicia and her husband James Langmayer and Karalyn and her husband Norman Eifler, great grandchildren; Ava and Ariana Jordan and Amelia and Alexa Langmayer, her sister Christine Domson, Pottsville and her sister-in-law Lorraine Matusik, Hughesville also by nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Divine Mercy Church, Shenandoah, with Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until time of mass.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions, in Mary’s name, to the Memorial Fund of Divine Mercy Parish, 106 W. Cherry Street, Shenandoah, PA 17976

Beatrice C. Nocket, age 90, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at Schuylkill Center, in Pottsville.

Born in Schoentown, PA on May 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Statcavage) Rowcotsky.

Beatrice worked as a sewng machine operator for the Phillips and Jones Company and she was a member of the St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nocket, brothers: Edward, Al, Adam, and John Rowcotsky, and sisters Theophilia Bobbin and Mary Grabusky.

Beatrice is survived by her son Joseph Nocket and his wife Debra, Lake Wynonah; her grandson Anthony Nocket and his companion Brianna Eroh, Chester Springs; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon on Friday September 23rd at 11AM, with Msgr. William Glosser officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Friday morning from 9-10:30AM at the Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home 208 Pike St. Port Carbon.

Interment will be held in the St. Stephen Cemetery in Port Carbon.
